Helping You Plan for the Future
What to Expect When You Reach Out
Below are the steps we will take once you reach out to work with AAPG Law:
- We answer your call. You will start the process by calling one of our Business Development Coordinators, who will arrange a face-to-face meeting and answer immediate questions. It is important to note that virtual meetings are also available.
- We gather information. You will attend your initial meeting with one of our Business Development Coordinators, and together, we will gather all the information you need for your case.
- Our firm develops a proposal. You will meet with a leader of our firm to discuss the details of your proposal and have a chance to get answers to questions.
- Our firm presents a contract. You will attend a meeting with members of our firm who will present you with a contract that you will review together. If you have lingering questions or concerns, our team will address them at this meeting.
- We take the wheel. Once you sign the contract, we will take over and work to get your application processed and approved.

Comprehensive Medicaid Planning that Puts You First
Our office primarily facilitates Medicaid planning. Day to day, this involves helping clients qualify for Medicaid benefits and coordinating care. All the while, we aim to preserve their assets and avoid the “spend down” process. Additionally, our team takes on estate law matters that intersect with Medicaid/long-term care planning, from trust and will creation to business succession planning and probate.
No matter the case, we offer clients a few important promises:
- Our working process begins with a no-cost consultation to provide an overview of Medicaid and long-term care, answer general questions, and assess obstacles and/or opportunities with Medicaid eligibility.
- For yourself or a loved one, we will perform a one-on-one personal review of assets to determine how to protect them while achieving Medicaid eligibility.
- Our team will gather, prepare, and execute all relevant documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, deeds, contracts, and annuities. We handle the paperwork, so you do not have to.
- We will file a Medicaid application and submit supporting documents. Then, we will manage the case from start to finish, which includes communicating with the Arkansas Department of Human Services (DHS).
- After confirming eligibility, we will coordinate benefits with your or your loved one's long-term care facility.
- Finally, we will offer guidance on post-eligibility financial requirements and help you navigate changes in future circumstances.
